Linux for 390

Linux is not available to download from the CBT Tape site but I can provide a little information.

A great starting point is the site "Linux for Big Iron" at http://www.linuxvm.org or the Linux for S-390 FAQ at http://reason.marist.edu/FAQ/

Many helpful folk in the Linux on 390 community are active on the LINUX-390 mailing list

Linux on 390 ordering on CD-ROM

I am currently working on obtaining permission to offer some of the Linux/390 distributions to order on CD-ROM for low cost the same as the CBT CD(s) but this is not yet available here.

Cheapbytes offers some Linux/390 distributions for a very reasonable price

and I have found them to be reliable using them regularly for obtaining x86 Linux, BSD, and other CD(s)
